Mt. Myogi
Mt. Myogi is a very jagged set of peaks that is only 45 minutes from our house. So, one weekend with Sarah as our fearless leader a group of us went to conquer it. The hike was pretty wild with many sections of near vertical rock. The rock had many little knobby holds and things, plus there are chains, so it’s pretty easy to climb. But, by the end, when we were getting tired I was really ready to not have to deal with the climbing anymore.

The before picture.

Temple at the base of the mountain.

Our fearless leader.

In the first picture you can see a little white speck on the hill. It is the character for “big” 大 and this is us posing next to it.

No joke, near vertical.

Nice views, but very hazy.

Go Laurel!

After a long day of hiking it’s good to refuel with lots of cheap sushi.
Thanks for a great hike Sarah!
